As you know, we are opening a new office location in Irvine. We are getting closer to opening that office. There are a lot of details when opening a new office, but we have most of them very well under control. Our Access Control system is in place, ADT alarm, Dell Rack Enclosure, full T1 internet, Cisco router, SonicWALL firewall, and servers are all in place. Open items are the VOIP phone system, cubicles and signs. There is a strong likelihood we will be having an open-house!

As you know, no Click newsletter is complete without the latest Google happenings. Well, Google map Street Views have hit Los Angeles. Google basically paid a guy to drive all around Los Angeles (streets and freeways) with a big 360-degree video camera on top of the van. Now, all of that footage has been organized and is available through the Google Maps interface Go to: http://maps.google.com and then click on the Street View button.

As you know, probably, email was not designed to transfer large (>1MB) file attachments. Sometimes, when you send large file attachments, the recipient never receives them due to their email policies. What is the workaround? Simple, use a free online service called YouSendIt (www.yousendit.com). The CEO is from Adobe. When you email a large attachment through their system, your recipient receives a link in their email. The recipient clicks the link and the large file is transferred easily and immediately to their computer (using a protocol more suited to large files). It is easy for the sender. It is easy for the recipient. It is free. Enjoy this excellent service!!
