A CPA contacted us back in 2000 to build an Access Database that could perform the key functions that Quickbooks can perform, but without all of the bells and whistles.  Specifically, he wanted the Access Database to be able to enter journal entries, checks and book cash receipts, run journal entry reports, cash disbursements reports, cash receipt reports, general ledger reports, trial balance, check detail reports, payroll reports, 1099 reports, and print checks.  So, we went to work.  As I am writing this page, it is just about a decade later, and he is still using this application to this day.
