How My Blackberry Changed My Life

Can an electronic device really change your life? My Blackberry sure changed mine. My Blackberry phone, with email, has certainly allowed me to provide more responsive more timely customer service. Full details in the full text version.

Blackberry Firstly, let me just say, I love my Blackberry! But, did it change my life? YES. Here is how... I do quite a bit of travel, and find myself out of the office just as much as in the office. In the old days (pre-Blackberry), all of my email would get jammed up. I would then need to find an internet connection while I was on the road and try to login to my webmail account. Then, I could respond to all of the emails that came in during the day. The problem with this technique is that my clients (you guys) would not get responded to in a timely manner. This was causing problems. So, I bought a Blackberry. I tried it out for a week, and immediately bought Blackberries for all technicians at our firm. Now, when I am out on the road, all my email comes into my Blackberry real time. And, even though I can't solve the client issue while I am on the road, I can at least forward the issue back to a tech in the firm who can. In other words, it keeps everything flowing smoothly. Looking back, I can't figure out how I ever survived without it. It is the same realization that hits you when you can't understand how you ever survived without your cell phone. Anyhow, if you are out of the office quite a bit, and need a better way to stay connected with your email and thus your customers and your world, give Blackberry a try.
