Dell Airplane Story

I was on an airplane last week in Philadelphia. We were still on the ground, and were going to push back from the gate in 5 minutes. I received an emergency email on my phone, and had to respond right away. I pulled out my new Dell XPS laptop (which is perfect by the way), and booted it up. I connected to the internet via the built-in Verizon card (which gives you internet everywhere there is cell phone service). I logged in and resolved the issue. I also connected back to my desktop in my office and sent out an urgent email with a file attachment that was stored on my office network. I was logging out just as I heard the announcement to Discontinue Using Portable Electronic Devices. Try doing that a few years ago!
