Google Apps

Google recently launched a service called GoogleApps. Google Apps combines many of their existing free services, like email, online spreadsheets, instant messaging and calendar. What is great about this service, besides the fact it is free, is that it can be branded for your company, with customized logo and domain. Full text for more info.

The Google Apps service has three versions, Standard, Premier, and Education.  The Standard and Education versions are free, and the Premier version is $50 per user per year.

The service includes  Gmail, Google Talk, Google Calendar, Docs & Spreadsheets, Page Creator and Start Page.  What is unique however, is that they can all be branded with your domain name and your logo.  This means that your domain name email can be hosted by Google, and users access the email from the web-based GMail interface.  (This trick is done with CName DNS records.)
