Did you know you can restrict your Google search to a specific site? Simply enter your keywords and then add site:domain.com. Advanced Google searches.   Here are some of the more useful advanced Google search techniques, although there are many more.

The "define:" operator will return word definitions.  For example, enter "define:cpu" to return definitions of the keyword "cpu"

The "stocks:" operator will return stock quotes.  For example, enter "stocks:rht goog msft" to return stock quotes for RedHat, Google and Microsoft.

The "*" operator fills in the blanks.  For example, enter "the parachute was invented by *".

The "filetype:" operator restricts searches to certain file types.  For example, enter "prius user manual filetype:pdf" to search for pdf files only.

Enter a phone number to do a reverse phone lookup.

Calculator.  Type in almost any math equation and get the result.  Even conversions.  For example, enter "100 miles in kilometers", "50 dollars in aud", "100 days in years", "1 gallon in liters", or "65 mph in kph".
