If you have needed a way to create a demonstration video for your software programs, or how to create a set of videos that show your computer desktop, or to create video information products, the open source community can help.
CamStudio (http://camstudio.org) is an open source Windows desktop program that enables you to record your computer desktop for a period of time while you work. Say, you want to make a video available on your intranet so that employees can see how to set up a new customer in your CRM program. Or, you'd like to embed a similar video into your website. CamStudio is the freely available program that enables you to do it.
